About the Course

Harassment and discrimination impact every level of an organization, decreasing productivity and eroding workplace culture. When relationships become fragmented, people’s sense of psychological safety diminishes considerably, often resulting in mental and emotional strain. Toxic workplace dynamics are one of the primary reasons employees leave their positions. The good news is that there are steps you can take to address these issues.

In this interactive session, participants will learn about the subtle and more overt behaviours that encompass harassment and discrimination. There will also be an emphasis on working towards a harassment-free workplace through understanding the legal obligations of all parties involved.

Key Learning Outcomes:

  • Clarification of responsibilities for promoting respect in the workplace.

  • Explore the basis and impact of discriminatory behaviours.

  • Equip yourself with effective communication tools to address concerns constructively.

  • Navigate the legal landscape, through understanding personal and corporate responsibilities and liabilities in cases of harassment and discrimination.
