About the Course
We all have biases. How might we become more conscious of those subtle beliefs, stereotypes or attitudes which can shape our perception of others and inform our decision-making? Recognizing and understanding these biases is essential to develop an inclusive leadership style, while cultivating a more dynamic, openly collaborative and engaged work environment that welcomes diversity.
In this workshop, participants will identify and work through unconscious bias and learn how to create a supportive working culture that allows for sustainable long-term equity-centred practices.
Key Learning Outcomes:
Understand the nature of (in)equity across societal, organizational, relational, and personal dimensions.
Identify and address the unconscious biases influencing workplace dynamics.
Cultivate leadership competencies to proactively navigate and transcend biases in professional settings.
